Gauteng Cup 2021 – 12th April
The 2 teams met at Dainfern for the 1st round of the bi-annual event for 2021.
The day was held at Dainfern Golf & Country Estate on the majestic Dainfern Golf Course.
Thanks to our PGA professionals, Tim Steynberg & Dean Kupferman, for a wonderfully run event, as the players had a great time on the day.
Dainfern will be known as “The House of Pain”, as Northern Gauteng were defeated at Dainfern for the 2nd time.
The results were as follows:
Foursomes – 6.5 CG – 1.5 GN
BetterBall – 6 CG – 2 GN
Singles – 10.5 CG – 5.5 GN
Total Result – 23 CG – 9 GN
Gauteng North will host the 2nd round on the 4th October 2021, with the venue still to be decided
