Edwin Compton is the Regional Manager for the South African Golf Development Board (SAGDB) in Mpumalanga and is based at the National Junior Development Centre at Leopard Creek CC. SAGDB Mpumalanga Programs currently include Middelburg, Secunda, Ermelo, Pilgrims Rest, Komatipoort and Malelane where just over 200 juniors receive coaching every week.

Edwin’s philosophy on coaching and working with people is that whoever you work with is a human being first and secondly a golfer. This means that the coach’s role always goes beyond the driving range or golf course in the form of mentoring and caring for the people he/she works with.
