Fanie Roos completed his B.A. Human Movement Science & Psychology degree in 2003 and Post Graduate Teaching Diploma at North-West University in 2004. He then completed his honours degree in Sport Science at the University of Pretoria.
Fanie started coaching junior sport skills, and was the owner of a Playgolf franchise. He was employed at Legend Golf & Safari resort as an assistant professional, then qualified as a PGA professional while employed as Head Professional at Maccauvlei Golf Club.
Fanie has been a golf coach for 13 years, and is a class AA professional. His journey in education started when he joined Emfulenipark Primary as a school teacher, thereafter being employed at North-West University in 2014 as a junior lecturer in the Sport & Recreation department.
Fanie is currently busy with his MA Sport & Recreation degree and his thesis focuses on the management of golf players from junior to professional level.
