What led you to becoming a PGA Professional?	The first time I picked up golf club, I knew this was the industry I wanted to be in. I have always been very good with children so it only seemed natural for me to start my own coaching company.
How long have you been in your current position?	I have been coaching for the past 10 years
What does your job entail?	Business owner of the NB Golf Academy and Golf Operations manager of the Walmer Golf Club
Please give us a brief outline of the path you took to lead you to your current position	I started out in the golf industry with a view of going into club management. I then started coaching a bit on the side to make a bit extra money. That’s when I knew I wanted to be a coach. So, I started building a small base of clients, Then Wayne Berry approached me and asked if I could take over his academy of 40 children, which I did, and it steadily grew and grew and grew to the position where I am now.
Why do you feel that you would be a good candidate to win this award?	I have a passion for this game, I love to see people playing it and love to help them achieve their golf goals. I love to see children get better and better and see what they can achieve in this game.
