Quintin Byleveldt – Director of Golf
Pinnacle Point Golf Club
What led you to becoming a PGA Professional?
|
I was fortunate to grow up about a block from a golf course. I was fascinated by the facility and the players. I soon started lessons at the age of 12 with the clubs local pro. I had played decent amateur golf and like many I had the dream of playing professional, I soon realized it is not so easy as it looks. My local pro was always an inspiration and I really loved the game, so I decided to enrol into the PGA apprentice program.

I currently find myself and my greenkeeper working daily to use less and less water as well as using more environmentally friendly products on the course.
In our golf operations and bookings departments we are using more digital functions instead of paper. We will also most probably move from our plastic water offering to glass
